Esperanto in Today’s paper

Today’s paper, the Gazette for me, featured a strip that referenced Esperanto! I thought it was really cool. The strip is Hagar the Horrible and of all people, it’s Lucky Eddie, the faithful if dim-witted sidekick, who brings up the Universal language.

btw, I have learned two very simple yet diverse suffixes for Esperanto: -et- and -eg- These are the modifiers.
For example: bela = beautiful. belega = drop dead gorgeous
somni = to sleep. somnetas = I’m taking a nap
