Grounded Cover Reveal

I know I talk frequently about G.P. Ching. https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=2ac4751e72&view=att&th=13ec02a169a40c55&attid=0.1&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P--WsWOT2mvshwRviuR4gfE&sadet=1369136400974&sads=ZZToHcq2d3AlZkNuQ2IYwTiuu_8She’s a real inspiration to me. While I was fretting about getting a publisher, she went ahead and beat the grapes out of the system and self-published. Her first series, The Soulkeepers, intrigued me, but her latest book, Grounded, blew me away. I love this book.

And now I get to reveal the new cover for it.

But first, as expected, I need to add some dramatic tension here, so here’s a little bit about Grounded:

All my life I’ve worked to be simple, but I can’t pretend anymore. Nothing about me is simple.

In the year 2050, a secret government study nicknamed Operation Source Code injects eight volunteers with a retrovirus. The goal? To abate the energy crisis by reprogramming human DNA to power personal electronic devices. The experiment works but with disastrous consequences.

Seventeen years later, Lydia Troyer is far from concerned with the energy crisis. Growing up in the isolated community of Hemlock Hollow, life hasn’t changed much since 1698 when her Amish ancestors came to America. She milks her cow by hand, makes fresh bread every morning, and hopes to be courted by Jeremiah, the boy who’s been her best friend since she could walk.

But when Lydia’s father has a stroke and is taken to the outside world for medical treatment, Lydia and Jeremiah leave home to visit him. An ordinary light switch thrusts Lydia into a new world where energy is a coveted commodity and her own personal history makes her the most sought-after weapon on the planet.

Dang. Double Dang. It’s a fantastic read, and worth the purchase. You can get your own copy here, here, here, or here.

Okay, I’ve dragged it out enough. Without further ado, here’s the new cover to Grounded!https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=2ac4751e72&view=att&th=13ec02a169a40c55&attid=0.3&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P--WsWOT2mvshwRviuR4gfE&sadet=1369136609449&sads=FyrT7qgWodC3YA0NY83o2r7199M
