Portion Size Me, Day 4

“You know, people really under-estimate just how much is in a pack of ramen.”

Lunch:
1/2 block of ramen (70)
1 egg (85)
1 donut (195)

Just like ice cream or any other food I really enjoy, I didn’t think half a block of ramen would be anything more than a pre-cursor to real food. But, prepared according to instructions, makes a decent soup, though it’s fairly difficult to measure out half the seasoning packet. Mix in an egg and it’s actually pretty filling.

Breakfast:
1 cup Raisin Bran Crunch (190)
8 oz milk (110)
Greek yogurt (160)

Snack
1 fun size peanut butter girl scout crunch bar (95)
8 triscuits (130)
1 pack fruit snacks (70)

Dinner was a lazy affair. I was tired, Megan was tired, so we just did whatever made us happy.

1 cup Corn pops cereal (110)
8 oz. milk (110)
2 fish fillets (250)
juice (130)

Dessert

Fun size 100 grand bar (95)

here’s the cool thing I put together. Some packets of muffin mixes that require only water can be used to make a single muffin. Just mix it in a mug and throw it in the microwave. I know pinterest is filled with pins about stuff you can make in a mug, and most of them don’t work. But this one does work.
